I grow tired of the constant bickering of xenophobes outside of America that constantly attempt to berate the use of imperial measurement in the United States of America. While metric is indeed a great conversion basis, the cold dark truth is this:
The moment that our country is razed 3+ times, restructured, anarchically land grabbed and chaotically recreated/reformed (e.g. European countries), we’ll get right on it. Until then, it’s a slow transition since it requires generational teachings and underlying civilization/culture change.
It’s like having an A.D.H.D. riddled brother bouncing around you, telling you about some hot, new trend that is sooooper dooooper… because he uses it.
